What exactly does Rulyfi do for me?
Rulyfi is a no-code tool for building and validating crypto trading strategies. You set the indicators, ranges, and symbols, and the scanner automatically backtests every combination within them — up to 100 million a day — and ranks them by results. From there, you refine the strategy you pick in the builder and run it with a bot on your own PC. What you test and what you use — that's all up to you.
How is Rulyfi different from other backtesting tools?
Most backtesting tools test one strategy at a time — you guess the settings, run, tweak, repeat. Rulyfi's strategy scanner is an exhaustive, brute-force search: it backtests tens of thousands of indicator combinations across your chosen ranges and surfaces only the ones that survived. Instead of asking 'does my idea work?', you ask 'which of these 50,000 variations actually held up?'
Can I backtest a crypto trading strategy without coding?

Is this investment advice? Do you guarantee returns?
No. It is only a tool for building and validating strategies; what you use and whether you actually trade are entirely your own decisions. Backtests are results based on past data and do not guarantee future returns.
Can I trust the backtest results?
They're computed with an honest engine that applies fees (maker and taker separately), slippage, and look-ahead prevention. No marketing fluff — only numbers that stay close to real trading.
Why do backtest results often look better than live trading?
Three usual reasons: look-ahead bias (using data that was not available at the time), ignored trading costs, and overfitting. Rulyfi guards the first two by design — every run applies maker/taker fees, slippage, and look-ahead prevention. Overfitting it cannot remove for you: a strategy tuned to the past can still fail forward, which is why no backtest guarantees future returns.
Do I need an exchange API key?
Rulyfi's scanner, builder, and backtests use only public market data, so no exchange API key is needed. The auto-trading bot does require a key, but the key is stored only on your device (in the OS keychain) and is never sent to Rulyfi's servers.
Which exchanges do you support?
Charts, backtests, and the scanner support public data from 26 exchanges (24 CEX + 2 DEX) — including Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, Kraken, Bitget, KuCoin, Gate.io, Hyperliquid, and dYdX. The auto-trading bot currently supports Binance.
